A Family Legacy Dedicated To The Serious Woodturning Craftsman
Today, the Strippelhoff family, combining the resources and experience gained through both their Dixie Indistrial Supply and Carbide Products business concerns, have formed WoodTurner Tools – dedicated to producing high quality point tools for the serious woodturning craftsman. The family’s elder statesman, Carl Strippelhoff, first recognized this unique opportunity to work with his four sons when The Journal of the American Association of Woodturners published an article¹ that cited Dixie Industrial Supply as an excellent source for high-speed steel (HSS), ideal for fashioning custom point tools for woodturning.
